From Alliance Rehabilitation to Alliance Clinics

If you’ve been told to “go to Alliance Rehabilitation”, you’re in the right place.

Alliance Clinics is the next chapter of what began as Alliance Rehabilitation in Townsville.

Where it started (2016)

Alliance Rehabilitation was established in 2016 with a clear and practical purpose: to deliver the Community Based Rehabilitation Service (CBRS) across North Queensland.

At the time, there was a growing need for high-quality, community-focused allied health services that could support people outside of hospital settings. Alliance Rehabilitation stepped into that gap, working closely with clients, families, and funding bodies to provide therapy that was accessible, outcomes-driven, and grounded in real-world function.

From the beginning, the focus was simple:

  • Help people regain independence
  • Deliver services where people actually live and work
  • Provide consistent, reliable clinical support in the community

Growing with the community

Over time, the needs of our clients expanded, and so did we.

What started as a rehabilitation-focused service grew into a multidisciplinary allied health provider, supporting people across a much broader range of goals and life stages. This included:

As demand increased, Alliance Rehabilitation became one of the largest private allied health providers in North Queensland, known for its practical approach, strong clinical teams, and commitment to delivering services that actually make a difference.

Why we changed our name

By 2025, it was clear that the name “Alliance Rehabilitation” no longer reflected the full scope of what we do.

We were no longer just a rehabilitation provider.

We were supporting:

  • Children, adults, and older Australians
  • People with disability, injuries, developmental needs, and performance goals
  • Individuals, families, and organisations

The word rehabilitation suggested a narrow entry point. In reality, our services had expanded far beyond that.

So we evolved.

Alliance Clinics (2025 and beyond)

In 2025, Alliance Rehabilitation became Alliance Clinics.
