Speech Pathologist
Talor is a detail-oriented speech pathologist with a special interest in dysphagia, cognitive communication disorders, voice disorders, AAC and aphasia. She is passionate about working with older populations and helping participants achieve their communication and swallowing goals, however does enjoy working across the lifespan too.
Talor graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from James Cook University, where she completed an honours research project focusing on restrictive practices in dysphagia management. This research deepened her understanding of the complexities of dysphagia and has greatly influenced her clinical approaches.
She has gained experience working with both paediatric and adult populations across a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, hospitals, and schools. Talor works with receptive and expressive language, articulation, literacy, pragmatics, stuttering, and dysphagia.
